That's what I'm thinking too. Just like the m60 stock moderator is just a bunch of screw together empty chambers. It works, but it could be improved.

The 30 cal is shootable in the backyard, but it could be quieter for sure. I'm tempted to do the felt/hair curler mod and see if that helps. The 30 and 357 have an m16x1.5 threaded adapter which is about as scarce as hen's teeth when looking for an aftermarket mod.

Humas come with felt wrapped wire mesh but I take them out for more air volume. One wrap of felt that stays in by itself is all I really leave in them just to dampen any ping that may accure.
