Umarex Umarex zelos o ring help

I forgot to lower my reg before pumping so I took off the tank to find I tore a o ring. I have spares from the hand pump kit but the umarex does not include spare o rings. Does it have to be exact size? The one I have is slightly thicker with a smaller inside diameter, I'm going to try and find a replacement at the hardware store. Is there kits I can buy? Also am I only able to fill the tank off of the gun to a certain psi? It started leaking out the non fill end around 2k psi and I lost all my air. Haven't tried pumping it up again. Doesn't help I got the gun today in the mail and it's freezing cold, maybe that weakened the seals?

Got the new 90 durometer Viton orings in today, slightly smaller than standard but very firm. Lubed up and installed on zelos nipple, huben valve went right on while pressurized at around 3k psi, no hissing and no leaking. Seems as though these harder orings are what it needs if you are considering removing and replacing bottles under pressure.

Sitting here with my new Zelos .22, a new Tuxing 580cc 4500psi Bottle, and a new Huben Power Zelos Bottle Regulator. Before I go to install the bottle & regulator, what other spare o-rings should I source besides the better 90 duro poppet valve o-rings that Ltomlin found? I'd like to install the new tank & regulator now but without spare o-rings on hand, am worried about damaging existing rings and not being able to shoot my new rifle. Is there a way to install everything without damaging o-rings? My stock Zelos tube is currently pressurized to 3625psi. 580cc tank & Huben regulator will not be removed once installed.

Just installed my Huben Cricket Regulator on my Zelos with a Tuxing 580cc CF Bottle. I had to loosen the two clocking screws to align the gauges/fill nipple then retightened them and snugged down the Regulator.

I can notice a small amount of slop where the regulator mounts to the rifle when holding it in a offhand shooting position, causing the bottle to contact the barrel shroud. Is this normal? Also, when screwing the regulator onto the Zelos, is there only an o-ring on the nose of what I'm assuming is the Poppet Valve assembly - nothing on the base for the Huben Valve to seal to?

Sorry for the dumb questions but this is my first experience with regulators and I want to be sure everything is good before attempting to fill the new bottle.

Thanks - Dave

I reached out to Huben and got pushed off by Nick Scott to Hajimoto Productions who I purchased the regulator from. Emailed Hajimoto but haven't received a reply back as of yet.

I ordered 35 of the ones ltomlin found at orings&more. They don't screw around - ordered @ 4:45am this morning and already have shipping confirmation.

Mine is a little loose until pressurized, then tightens up. Honestly I have no reason to take the valve on and off, so I put it on once pressurized, screw it on slowly until it gets past the nipple then finish until it stops. Unless something happens that it needs to come off I’ll just keep it above 1000 psi and top it off. Make sure you lube the oring and threads on the zelos side also every time you take it off/on.

I just got off the phone with Haj and he echoed your statement that the slop should go away once the bottle/gun is pressurized. I do not plan on removing the bottle/reg unless I should need to make adjustments.
