@Firewalker do you know if the tube/bottle base is m18x1.5 thread? Also, how hard would it be to delete the reg or just run it open?

I'm thinking delete the fill adapter on the 60 so I can pull the bottle back, and then drill and tap the other side of the plenum across from the regulator gauge and put my fill nipple there. Or up by where the reg is on the side where the vent hole is to keep the fill nipple out of the way of the safety.

This would make the regulator gauge the fill pressure gauge and then I could run it as a bell curve gun. I think the power potential would increase this way.

No, it's 16x1.5 pitch.

I have not pulled the regulator yet but it needs ambient air to regulate so you would need a "Regulator Delete" to bypass it.

Ok thanks for the info. Just trying to figure out the way to make it as short as possible. They do make m18x1.5 to m16x1.5 adapter though, just again, adds length back.

I guess this little hole is for the regulator to breathe?

Also, what's this set screw for? A vent?

Do you have the weight with the carbon fiber bottle? If it is the same weight or lighter... a CF bottle may be the way to go.

Zelos air tube is 22.6 oz.

.42L Carbon Fiber bottle is 18.4 oz.

.36L Carbon Fiber bottle is 15.2 oz.

More air, less weight, no suicide-foster fitting!

Now that is convincing. The .36L CF bottle will probably get more shots too.

Its just a 250cc tube, a 220cc bottle is almost as large and the 360cc bottle is almost a third larger and the 420cc bottle is almost 3/4 more air!

All three still weigh less than the tube.

Just an update. Got my Zelos in and it had significant damage on the trigger screws and a good dent in the upper plenum by the barrel. Supplier said they couldn’t do anything about it, called Umarex and they said they wouldn’t do anything about “cosmetic” damage. Pretty poopty practices in my opinion. How are you going to charge someone full price for a damaged rifle and say oh well, it’s only cosmetic. **** Umarex and **** thegundock.com. Will never do business with either of them ever again.

Can you supply pictures ?
That’s troubling

Do you happen to know what the shroud ID is? I want to get some baffles, just need to make sure I have the correct size. It would be great if the Akela baffles fit in it as those work tremendously well on the akela platform. My buddies zelos shoots decently when it's not clipping. Sadly it needs an oversized mod for it to not clip.
Great job!
