Umarex Umarex Zelos

Hi All,
I just placed my order with Wes for an M60B .30 with an aluminum bottle and moderator ($630 shipped).

What is your favorite .30 pellet for the Zelos? Thank you!
My 30 cal loves JTS 45.06 and does damn decent with Hades. Polymags shoot good if i single load them. They don't fit the factory mags.

*Zelos Warranty replacement Update*

I am beyond frustrated with Umarex. I sent in my Zelos to get it replaced because the Umarex rep said they didn't have any O Rings available/In stock because it is such a new air gun so a replacement air gun is needed. I asked if it would be a new air gun and he said yes. A few days passes and I received the same air gun. The notes inside stated nothing was wrong. I immediately checked the O Ring where the air tank seats into the air gun and it was the same CUT O Ring. I called Umarex and the Umarex rep, Mason said something along the lines of their 20 year old gun rep would have not let this slide. I attempted to verified with Mason to see if the gun smith checked the O Ring and Mason avoided that question as if his life depended on it and stated "It didn't leak air". I asked if it was their normal practice to test for air pressure and not inspect the O Ring and Mason did not answer. I probably asked 2-4 times but Mason kept saying that their gun smith would have not let that happened. We went back and forth and I ultimately gave up. This company is literally dog sh*t. If I knew this was going to happen, I would have just bought an O ring elsewhere and avoided all of this. Every question Mason answered was just so BS. I'm never buying another Umarex.

Is there such thing as a proprietary unicorn oring? I'm not saying anything about your issue. Just seems beyond dumbfounding an airgun co. Wouldn't have orings. New gun or not. Are you talking tank side, or gun body side?

I don't think it is a unicorn o ring but I wanted to go to the source and see if I can get an O Ring from Umarex. The Umarex rep said there was no o rings in stock but we'll just replace your gun with a new one, so why not right? Thus which is why I did go forward with shipping in my air gun to Umarex. It's the o ring on the air gun body side. When shipped, I even placed a note stating the O RING is cut thus leaking air when I had it but looks like all of that was ignored, which Mason had no explanation and kept saying "Our 20 year experience gun smith would have not had that happened". Overall, I'm just upset that they straight up lied to me and wasted my time.

I asked Mason to look at their history notes of my ticket/case to see who I originally spoke to who said I'll get a "New" Zelos and Mason just kept saying, there's no other notes. The only notes were from the gun smith stating "Nothing wrong with the air gun". Total BS. I call BS because the first rep that was suppose to email me the shipping label forgot to email it to me. I had to call back and and spoke with another rep and he was able to pull my case/ticket, verify the notes, my identity, and was able to resend the shipping label to me.

For those who has the .25 caliber, what pellets/slugs are you using? What's your regulator pressure? I'm set around 1900 PSI on the reg shooting ~880fps. Mine just does not like the JSB Hades and shoot fliers consistently. I took it out for some small game today, first 5-8 shots were straight. After that, next 4-6 shots were scattered. After those shots, then it shoots straight again. This is on a different Zelos and I'm seeing similar results. And no, Umarex did not send me a new Zelos.

I will order some other pellets and let you know my results. Thanks!
Have you tried Big Air mags from Tango Sierra? They tightened up my groups with multiple different pellets over the factory mag. My 60B won't shoot well with JSB anything out of the factory mag. They shoot into a half inch at 40 yards out of his mags.

Could it be a mag issue? I seen a few videos on youtube using the factory mag and they're shooting straight with JSB pellets. I was shooting at 15 yards and had fliers 2-3 inches from my cross hairs. To be exact, to the left and above my cross hairs. This just leaves me bamboozled.

Check for pellet strikes inside the shroud cap.

Oh that's way worse than what I was thinking. That does sound like clipping.
