Umarex Umarex Zelos

I understand.

For me, I want 4 mags minimum, I will put a bottle on mine. If I go to the woods, it will be three hours minimum and I will take longs shots to see my range. Ill need every pellet I can get.
With that said, do you think lowering the reg to 1800 psi, would get an extra mag in? I'm hoping to to get 850 - 900 fps with .25 JSB Hades

I received my Zelos today. I was over excited and went down to my basement to get some cleaning equipment. I quickly ran upstairs and dropped my ballistol can on my unfinished stairs and broke the cap. :( However, I did run a few patches through it until it was clean. After cleaning, I filled the Zelos and my reg was set to about 2300 PSI. Shot some JSB.25 26.54gr Hades at 940 fps. Dropped the reg to 1900 PSI and now shooting 880 fps. I did try to remove the end cap but it's screwed on pretty tight and it unscrewed the part that has the 1/2x20 UNF. I got it out but was wondering what the tool is called to tighten the muzzle 1/2x20 UNF part (See attached picture IMG_0354).

I received the Baffles for the Zelos from Bravo3D. I installed all 4 baffles and shot a few test rounds. It reduces the noise by a lot. It makes the Zelos more indoor friendly when shooting. It has improved my FPS by 10-15 shooting 26.54gr JSB Hades .25. I had the gun set at around 880fps. Now that I installed the baffles, I am getting 890-895 fps. I guess the 4 extra baffles helps the compressed air push the pellet a little bit more. At this time, it doesn't seem like it affects the accuracy but I am only shooting at 15 yards.

I was contemplating the purchase of this gun but due to UX being horrible with repairs and warranty issues, I chose not to. They DON'T sell parts at all! UX wants customers to ship the gun to them for insignificant issues like breach seals ,etc. Supposedly it's being made under contract by Snowpeak with the UX badge on it. If I just had to have that gun, I'd call Airgun Archery Fun in Canada and order the M60B. You can get it with the bottle instead of the silly tube UX is selling it with. You CAN upgrade it to a bottle but according to Wes at "AAF" the only place to get the adapter for it is through him for about 100 bucks. (NO BOTTLE) Then, your warranty is void with UX since you tampered with it.
$599 from UX with possible headaches or $599 from Wes....
Just my 2 cents.
Good luck!
Wes is the man, I bought mine from him no regrets

Well, I'm shooting the compact today and recording groups on paper, then I'm cleaning the barrel and putting her up for sale.

Now that I know what it takes to make a compact, I'll be ordering another one and will focus on internally suppressing thanks to Big Air and his Tesla valve moderators.

The only thing that kills the looks for me on these guns, and it's more noticeable on the compact, is the bottle adapter/fill section.

I wish it just threaded to the action block like an RTI or uragan gun. That would also allow a slightly bigger bottle or even shorter barrel.

@Firewalker do you know if the tube/bottle base is m18x1.5 thread? Also, how hard would it be to delete the reg or just run it open?

I'm thinking delete the fill adapter on the 60 so I can pull the bottle back, and then drill and tap the other side of the plenum across from the regulator gauge and put my fill nipple there. Or up by where the reg is on the side where the vent hole is to keep the fill nipple out of the way of the safety.

This would make the regulator gauge the fill pressure gauge and then I could run it as a bell curve gun. I think the power potential would increase this way.
