Unable to respond to classified?

I’m likely doing something wrong but according to the rules I should be able to respond to ads in the classified, but at the end of each ad is stated “you are unable to respond to this ad”. Can someone in authority please steer me in the right direction? I would like to participate and have stuff to sell and stuff I want to buy.

You cant reply to any topic on classified. Its not you, it's everyone. We used to be able to reply there but MOD thinks it is just spamming that thread. So they removed the ability to reply on classified. You want something, contact the person directly.

On here, the "PM" function is called "Conversation"
So when you click on the Member's avatar, to far right.
You have the "follow" button, "Start Conversation" button, and the more options drop down menu button

Well I just joined too..
This function appeared once I made I believe 12 post..... there could be a lag when it is activated.
When in doubt, contact the Admin or Mods...

I'm having the same issue. I created this account to respond to a user with a WTB ad. i can't start a conversation with them.

I tried and used to be able to do that.. click on the name then pick message and send it ... but not now... LOL.. might have gotten in trouble.. here .. lol

Maybe this will help. SimpleGuy, hope it is OK that I just happened to use your Avatar to illustrate the "Start Conversation" location.

Guys, take a gander at the screenshot below. All you have to do is hold your mouse cursor over the seller's name and a small window like below pops up. At the bottom, in the center (as seen in the red oval), you should see "Start Conversation".
