Who else looks at everyday items(like a pizza box or an empty bottle of detergent) and thinks "You know, that would make a good target"?

I like leaves, especially when the sun lights them up. Paintballs are a hoot, but everybody shoots at them. They sound just like a head shot!

Speaking of pizza boxes I was watching a TV show about people in Alaska and they said all the pizza boxes up there have targets on the back for shooting after you eat ..

Isn’t federal law to fill aluminum cans with water and shoot them before throwing them in the recycling bin?

My favorite is used shotgun shells. You can reuse them a bunch of times and you never know where they going when u hit them

My homemade plaster clays the bottom of a coffee can painted with bullseye. Gatorade other plastic bottles filled with whatever is handy. The center one on the stand is filled with plaster . Cans. Old pellet tons. Chalk sticks. Etc..... always able to find something to shoot.

I use empty milk jugs ( and similar containers like the empty laundry bottle @the top of this thread ) - I fill 'em with sand and they stop the pellets dead so doubles as a trap too - no lead all over the back yard ( I have two dogs too ). I'll either sharpie marker on circles for a "bullseye" target or just use push pins and attach a printed target to them. They work a treat. When all shot up and full of holes - just dump the sand into a bucket, chuck the container into recycling, and then re-use the sand on a fresh container. ( disclaimer - lactaid is my wife - lol! I prefer plain ole milk myself! )

I love shooting the marble size water beads. They are cheap and available at Wallyworld. Just soak in water for a couple of hours, and toss them on the ground.

I shoot fruit that is starting to go bad, nice and reactive. Also, like everyone else, I fill cans and/or jugs with water and shoot them. I like putting holes in things and like to shoot reactive targets.

I just showed my wife this post and she exhaled and left the room! I have an area in the garage I store things to "shoot later". You name it, it's there. With it raining all day yesterday, I put together an old jigsaw puzzle and hit it with hair spray. I'll try setting it up and shooting specific pieces out of it. I have also setup old CDs and then try to put the pellet through the hole. A miss is clearly indicated. Last week the wife was washing blueberries and some at the bottom were bad, so...

I shoot the paint balls a fifty yards and the rest at fifty or a hundred depending on the gun and weather along with some of the other stuff mentioned above.

I shoot aspirin or plastic beads off of golf tees at 15-25 yards. I've been cutting play cards in two, very challenging to shoot when the edge is straight toward the sights. The next challenge will be baby aspirins and light-anywhere wooden matches.

I have a huge box full of Hilti powder actuated shot strips that I acquired in all the years of construction. There are 10 shots in each strip. Those are fun to shoot at, just make sure your lawn or area has green grass.
I save all the wine bottle corks, and the corks off of the ape drone tequila bottles. Those are actually the perfect size match to a squirrels head. I hang the corks on fishing line off of trees.
I also shoot these on occasion-
Military figures made of 16 ga sheet metal burned out on a plasma machine, and I also have rabbits and elk figures of the same gage metal. Also made a swivel target out of foosballs and super balls. Now that’s a blast to hit at 60 yards with a 30 cal.
