Unexpected Shooting Range Occupant

I was just shooting down range after some tuning and wanted to stretch her out to 185y tonight. Switched over to night mode, no IR, and this feller showed up. So I giggled and hit my white trash muffler target 10 yards away from it. This was my second shot that I have recorded here. My deer just don't care. Had to share the brilliance of silence.

Deer are crazy once they’re used to civilization… was zeroing a scope and almost shot this one cause she casually walked into the line of fire while I was shooting. Was probably looking through the scope for a couple of min already and didn’t notice her walking up. Fired a bunch of shots literally while she was walking across the lawn.

Yeah, deer walking into the shooting lane are a common occurrences here as well.

I like to break focus and then resettle between each shot, checking the area for critters and people is part of that habit.

Once the deer trust that you are not a danger, their curiosity will often have them walking over to see what I'm up to.

Funny how different deer have different personal spaces. Some are comfortable within touching distance, others will keep a good safe zone around them. Different personalities as well.

Shooting airguns doesn't bother the local deer, they are sure accustomed to hearing it around here. 😁

Cheers!

My session today was crashed by a pheasant, this time as it came alone and in peace i did not drop it, just filmed it a little and then went on my shooting while it feasted on the bait we have out for the rats.

There is also deer at my friends place, the side of my car is a proof of that CUZ they have headbutted it when i have left it overnight in the field.
Also make one jump up and run when they are resting in the property line under the trees there.
