Party crashers dealt with accordingly. 34g JSB at 725 FPS. *NOTE - I was asked to clarify, and upon listening to my short video, left out some pertinent info. When I recovered the animal and bagged it for disposal it was limp, showing no signs of life. The following morning, I noticed that it had moved from where i placed it. When I retrieved it, it gave indications of life, so I quickly added 2 rounds to the head, and it commenced another death dance. If you watch towards the end you can see it do that dance with it's shadow reflecting off the background.

I presume you were using a 25 Cal jsb heavies. You were citing muzzle velocity what was a velocity at the target? I use the same jsb mk2s but at 890 ft per second at the muzzle with a target range of 25 yd. Even with less than ideal placement the penetration at that velocity usually does them in quite quickly. I don't see too much wrong with the placement. Did you see any blood at the site of impact? Usually get the brain a lot of blood oozes out very quickly.

Velocity was the same. shot was 12 yards. L Leon may be right, shot must have been too forward on skull. Going to look up their anatomy again. Usually I would hit the one looking straight at me, won't make that mistake again.
