UNTOUCHED Brockock Bantam Sniper trigger WOW!!!

Was WOWWED by a recently purchased used Brocock Bantam Sniper HR that had no trigger adjustment whatsoever that seller is the no tinker type a guy.

He said he never touched anything aside from only the power click knob TP restrictor and just shot around 10-12 tins of pellets 5000-6000 rounds and the trigger gradually lightened and got perfect all by itself in fact it got too light so that's why he sold it.

It must be around 8 ounces.

This one definitely needs nothing done to it.

Suggest you just shoot your Brococks so the triggers smoothen up all by themselves.

Still WOWWED by this one! Feels like a well tuned trigger!

I'll just caution folks with adjusting the Bantam trigger. It is a very basic design, and the rear adjustment screw that is described as the weight adjustment, is actually the sear engagement adjustment. It's true, you can get the release weight down with it, but at a certain point, maybe around 8-10 ounces, the sear engagement becomes too shallow for consistently safe operation. So, when you get the trigger pull where you want it, be sure to bang it around a little and be sure it doesn't release. To get the most out of it safely, it should probably be disassembled, the parts polished, and maybe replacing the spring. All done with caution by someone competent.

Oh believe me I used this one like a slide hammer bumping and banging on this stock just to try to get it to fire on its own but it passes even MY bump test. I believe this one was well properly worn in. I'll just leave it be.

I do believe machining or even sanding the sear and contact points compromises the safety of this guns that's why I never advocated doing such modifications due to the nature of this trigger design and it just may become unsafe after thousands of rounds wear in.

I have 2 Compattos they are lighter and handier for hunting and carrying out in the field but have a lower shot count. Everything else pretty much the same except bottle and stock and of course the weight. It's also very thin at the fore end stock compared to the bottle versions. Nice feature IMHO.

Thanks ... May just have to pull the trigger on one ...

I thought the trigger on my Bantam Sniper XR was very good, but nowhere close to a great trigger. Definitely not match quality.

It ain’t match quality, but it is a really good trigger. I shoot casual dime sized and smaller groups with mine at 40 and 50 yards. This morning I shot a casual 5 shot .25” group at 40 yards. I wouldn’t be able to do that but for the awesome trigger. I have at least twenty tins of pellets through my Bantam and the trigger has worn in nicely. The Brococks with what some call meh triggers are still awesomely accurate shooters.

Man THIS ONE WITH HIGH MILEAGE has got to be the BEST Brocock trigger I have!

There's a night and difference between THIS ONE and all of my extremely low mileage ones I adjusted to their lightest possible adjustments within bump test safety test.

It's even almost like the one with the magnet mod.

I own a lot of Snipers Commanders Compattos and Bantams unregulated guns.

I believe wear in probably makes it way better like a little lighter than a just adjusted lighter Marauder trigger without the lawyer spring mod.
