Daystate UPDATE 1-9-24 Looking to make the move to PCP world. Need guidance!

View attachment 420528View attachment 420529Just got delivery of the Avenge X Bullpup Tube in .25 Cal. (Why tube? Just like the symmetry). The accuracy was great. The hammer spring & regulator was easy to tune as well. Put a LPVO Hawke Sidewinder scope 1.5 - 8 on it. Tuned mine to shot 930 FPS for FX 25 gr. Reg was set at 150-160 bar. Used one of my DonnyFL for FX moderator & it was a good reduction in noise. Filled the reservoir to 250 bar of air. Shoot count was way up there. Did not really count, prolly in the 40ties. For air, I used a Yong Heng (have been using it for a good 6-7 years) coupled with Chinese carbon fiber 9L tank (also about 6-7 years). What else to say about the Avenge X? Get a soft/hard case, plenty of air, plenty of pellets & make plenty of time for all the shooting!
Oh yeah, the grouping was at 40 yards

Although I have never watched that video I will assume it's pure marketing.
I can guarantee you that the new Avenge-X are an improved version of the first gen Avengers in every sense of the world and they are more quieter as well. The “pure marketing” that you refer to is being offered to the new DonnyFL Yokozuna and Ryu moderators and the American made Impulse as well. However they never mention the made in UK Huggett snipe standards moderators even though they are more affordable, efficient, lighter and more ergonomic than most of them that’s why I have them in my four Avengers airguns and sold my DonnyFL Sumo and FX moderators…😉. From left to right is the Huggett snipe standard, the 3D printed Buck-Rail, the DonnyFL Sumo and FX moderators. In this link Tyler Partner from Pyramid Air explains the difference between the new Avenge-X and the first gen Avengers.

@Shahrilstephen I keep hearing good thing about the Avenge X and it seems to fit the bill (price-wise and need-wise).

@ocdairgunner ....i have owned multiple air gun before & currently own a Impact MK II & M3 and Wildcat MK III....money wise, the Avenge X Bullpup is pretty up there, function wise as well & probably the tuning is the easiest I have encountered.....gets my vote to say the least

UPDATE:

I was able to find an amazing deal on an Daystate Air Ranger in .25 (mint condition, only shot about 150 pellets by owner)

I will post pictures once I have the AG in my possession.

Question: Can anyone help me pick the right accessories to fill the Air Ranger.

I am purchasing a
GX PUMP CS3 compressor. Would a Air Venturi Male Quick-Disconnect, 1/8 BSPP Female Threads work to fill the Daystate?

Thanks!

To add to this, if you go this route, check with the shops before you buy anything. Of the two dive shops in my town, one doesn’t like doing it and a 4500 fill requires a drop off and maybe ready the next day. It’s usually only 4300 psi fills. The other place can only get it to 3900-4000 psi. I use the place that does 3900 and just top it with my YH at home.

But I advise everyone to talk to the shop ahead of time.
The dive shops near me change an extra fee for 4500 psi fills and I have to drop the tank and pick it up a few hours later. So I went to portable compressors. If I could find a dive shop close enough to do the 4500 files in a timely manner I would go back to tanks as the air in them is clean and dry.
