AEA Update Challanger Elite .457 Finally Right

Life got in the way of finishing up getting my gun right so feel this update is over due.
Replaced Regulator Core twice. The 1st I backed out to far and blew an o-ring (have since replace that and so have a spare reg core now). The 2nd I damaged over time by adjusting reg pressure down without totally degassing. Yes, user's manual says not to without degassing or voids warranty. However, in my defense I purchased mine when they were first coming out and that wasn't in the original manual I downloaded. Anyway company replaced no charge after I sent copy of manual I had.
Crappy hammer spring that gave out, I replaced with the
PC080-750-SST-5250-CG-N-IN Spring from thespringstore.com that Caliusoptimus recommend. Working fine and a much easier fix than trying to repeatedly trim and file down the much heavier spring company sent as replacement (so heavy couldn't even cock gun).
Eventually did a little fire lapping to smooth and polish the bore. After having it checked with a bore scope. Have learned mine likes a very clean bore. And that while the .457 Mr.HP's work, they're just to close to my actual bore size. With mine I've found a .458 or .459 to give better chrono numbers depending on gn weight.
There was also some o-ring replacements after taking apart and putting things back together countless time.
Anyway gun is finally working right enough for me now. By next season should be able to fine tune a little better but simply ran out of time (my worst enemy).
Pic is of after sighting in, 35yds is because that's primary range from blind I'm hunting from this years. Other yardages was quick shots for reference before further shooting to determine scope adjustments for each.
Shooting a NEO .460- 315 mold hollow point slug sized to .459 (slightly filed down hollow points pins due to casting issues, likely my inexperience, but stopped my having voids). And a DonnyFl Ronin.
Now if the deer on my trail cams would just cooperate and be there when I'm actually in the blind...lol
Personally note, I'm shooting from a tripod because gun is simply to heavy for me to shoulder with any accuracy. And I'm not a weak man. Otherwise the gun can be as good as the shooter in my humble opinion.

Thank you. Being first air gun everything has been a steep learning curve. Especially since nothing ever seems to work straight out of the box for me. Even had to fix collapsing legs on new Bog tripod I bought.
Strom Helene hit just as ready to get back to gun. Devastated my driveway, ridge top gun range and tractor roads. Days to clear just for access ability. Years of firewood just laying on the ground.
