HW/Weihrauch Update on my fantastic HW90 20 cal.

Nice. Your going to be impressed. You’ll have fun adjusting it.

My son asked me what I wanted for Christmas. Told him I needed a gun. He said he would get me the new TX. I think I’m going for a HW90 .22 instead. Crow
I would have gotten my HW90 in .22 had it not been available in 20. AoA is currently out of stock in 20. I must have bought the last one.

Owned a RX1 in 5mm where I bought directly from the Beeman store when they were
in Santa Rosa. It was exciting to see a rifle where Weihrauch and Theoben technology
we're going to merge ! I never messed with the factory gas ram settings as it shot great.
It was one of the only airguns I ever owned that shot accurately with the Beeman (Japan)
Silver Jet pointed pellet. Exploding aspirin tablets at 10M was consistently easy. I think
those pellets were in the 12gr range and averaged 910 fps. I wish I never sold it. I did
because I seeked more power and ended up buying a Beeman Crow Magnum III in .22cal.
Never messed with it's ram settings either and it was a beast. With brown box Crosman
Premier 14.3 gr I was at 925 fps. Sold it and was out of the airgun shooting business for
years. The HW90's are excellent rifles.
Don't remind me about the Crow Magnum. I'm still sick over my stupidity for selling it. I never messed with it either. I was shooting 14.3 Crossman premier in .20 cal. Have no idea what muzzle velocity it could shot at. Long time ago now and I was just getting into that level of Air Rifle shooting. I had two springers before the Crow and I was hungry for more power. Now with my 90, I was disappointed to discover that .20 is no longer available from Crossman however, the JSB Exact 13.73 gr pellets are shooting extremely well at 820 FPS. Just as happy with JSB as I was with the Crossman pellets. I got myself stocked up with several cans.

Exploding aspirin tablets. Great idea and funny as hell! My 90 is breaking in nicely. The accuracy seems to have improved without messing with the Bars. I find myself shooting smaller and smaller targets at either one of my two target positions my back yard will allow, 30 or 50 yard positions. 30 yards is my chosen distance to zero the scope. The other night, I found a box of small 1" plastic wire nuts and put a few out at the 30 yard position and hitting them easily. I'm just so amazed. Not sure if I want to mess with the pressure but I do want to know where it's at. Just might give the wire nuts a try at the 50 with a hold over! Happy shooting, Crow!

I wouldn't mess with the pressure. I've always wondered how introducing more air (H20) into
a sealed high BAR system isn't a open door to corrosion. Nitrogen is the best sealed fill for
gas ram system. ..IMHO.
