*UPDATE* Peacemaker grips on a pp700

I’ve always been a sucker for peacemaker style revolvers and lever action rifles. So I decided to make a cowboy grip for my pp700. Love the pistol so much this is my second grip I’m making for it!
So far I’ve cut out the rough shape and inletted one of the halves seen in the pic. This walnut should make for a purty grip.

Always hated the feel of single shot grips / weapons. Even having sorta larger hands, they just never felt comfortable. I had Ruger's on both .22 and .44 mag.

BUT...your project looks nice. Gives the PP700 a completely different look.

Question, shouldn't there be a little more room for your middle finger under the trigger guard (so it would be up a little higher, closer to the level of your index finger) ?

Thanks guys. I have large hands as well and always enjoyed the feel of single action grips. Mike, you’re right there should be a little more room. I haven’t begun to shape the grip for its final shape yet. But that will be apart of the final design

Just about done with this grip. Only thing I don’t like about it, is the grey mounting piece is exposed a bit. I’ll cover that on my next one. Overall I’m happy with it

Touch up paint marker will work, just paint the exposed grey area, btw nice job

Would you be willing to... How much would you charge to do a "Double Action" pistol grip to fit the PP700S-A ?

Like the grip on a S&W Mod 29.
