Airgun Technologies Uragan 2 hammer spring adjustment.

Thanks for the info. That exactly describes what I am seeing. Here's a bunch of different hammer adjustments.

Edit to add:
I'm also in PM's with OP, I'm not trying to thread hijack -- just help color in a shared issue.

Never adjusted anything on my U2, just started acting up. AGT already introduced a modified balanced valve to address problem, neither Krale, nor AGT, were willing to replace old style valves unless owner reported a problem. Cost me shipping to Netherlands, both ways, for warranty work but still saved big dollars over US purchase price. WM

I'm bumping this thread because I finally got around to getting the huma reg installed. 4.5 std after install @ around 970 fps. A little too spicy for pellets at 145 bar. Dropping it down to 140 bar and going to test again. I've seen JSB's happy around 900 fps.

... I miss my taipan
What did you end up settling the reg to? And is it working to your liking now?

Since this thread is back to life, does anyone have pics of the old and new valve? I had a leak and had mine out (fixed the leak) but I have no idea if the valve is the first or second version.
There is actually four versions of the poppet from AGT for the U2.

V1 - Black material with 2-orings on the outside of the poppet. The steel stem screwed-in only halfway through the poppet body (black part).

V2 - Black material with 1-oring on the outside of the poppet. The steel stem screwed-in only halfway through the poppet body (black part).

V3 - Black material with 1-oring on the outside of the poppet. The steel stem screws-in completely through full length of the poppet body (black part).

V4 - White material with 1-oring on the outside of the poppet. The steel stem screws-in completely through full length of the poppet body (white part).

On a different subject, AGT does not recommend setting the regulator beyond 150Bar max for the Uragan2. Also, do not adjust the hammer spring. Leave the adjuster plug flush with the back of the block. It says not to adjust it right in the manual.

EDIT: I added photos of the various AGT U2 Valve poppets. The first and last photo below are not my photos. The others are my photos.

This is the original, V1 valve/poppet.

This is the V2 poppet. One less o-ring and poppet body broke in half right where the steel stem ended.

This shows the V2 poppet left, and the V3 poppet right. Notice the steel stem runs fully through the V3 poppet.

This shows the V2 poppet left and the V3 poppet right. Notice the steel shoulder on the V3 poppet is larger diameter.

This shows the newest, V4 (white) poppet next to the oldest, V1 poppet. This V4 white version also has the larger diameter steel shoulder.
