I watched a video on someone doing this and it looks easy enough. Has anyone on here done the conversion? The video says the bottles are rated to 300bar but the valve is only 250bar?

I did on one of mine. But I only fill to 250b so the valve vs bottle rating isn‘t an issue.

How much air is lost when attaching a new bottle? It’ll be filled to 250bar and then when screwed in I imagine there’s some loss? I love the idea of taking an extra bottle or 2 when out for a hunt.

Well here’s the catch. With a U2 we have a balance valve. When I take off my bottle the whole gun degasses. When I screw it back on the fingers have to be crossed that I don’t start losing air out the barrel. My best guess is two of my three Uragans have original valves in them and my one came with and updated valve because it’s easier to fill when empty. I think this mod is cool for a Uragan 1. I did it because my one U2 compact had a horrible shot count with what I have it set for. I just went with a bigger bottle and have no intention to remove it during a hunt. If I shoot 2 mags, that’s a good day in the woods and I’m headed out.
