I needed to make some reg adjustments on this new Uragan I picked up and despite my fear of the gun not filling again from 0 bar, I pulled the reg, opened it up about 2 hours (1/6 turn), put it back together and what do ya know, it wouldn't fill.
My son was so ready to go shoot the next day so I spent from 6pm to 12pm firing the gun while filling and bumping the butt on the table trying to get that dam valve to seal. Nothing worked. I was so pissed I was slamming the butt into the workbench. Nothing worked.
What I really needed was a tank to get a quick blast of high pressure air in there. So I figured I would try 100 PSI from my garage compressor. I dug through drawers and found enough fittings to go from a 1/4 foster to 1/4 NPT > 1/4 NPT tp 1/8 NPT adapter > 1/8 NPT to M10 x 1 adapter > Chinese HP host > M10 x 1 quick disconnect > fill probe. The setup was a frankenstein of fittings. I blasted 100 PSI of air in there while butt bumping and firing the gun to no avail. So I guess I was screwed until I get a scuba tank with 300 bar in it which I don't have.
I ended up getting that stupid valve to finally seal and take on air in the most asinine manner. I pulled the bottle off of my Impact M3 and then removed the foster fill nipple. I pulled the valve piston from the fill nipple so it would just shoot air through it both ways and installed it back in the Impact. Then, i connected the Impact to the Uragan with a spare hose and screwed my 300 bar bottle back onto the Impact. WHOALA!
That stupid Uragan valve sealed! What a #$#@^%% nightmare tonight has been.
Thank god my 1/6 turn adjustment was spitting slugs out at 956 FPS because I'm not degassing this dam gun EVER again.
