uragan .30 has what it takes.....

if you can get 125fpe+ from your .30 maverick, please advise what you have done to it
to make that power.
i'm sure there are a lot of folks interested as i am.....
Sure, just basic stuff. Dual transfer port, pin probe, 57 mm spring, and 14.5 gram hammer all from Huma. Regulator "around 165 bar"... Gauge kinda sucks for being real accurate so I have a digital one on the way so I know for sure. This is with slugs over 60-65 grains. Gun really likes a few different ones. It averages about 124 FPE and I have seen it hit 128 FPE. Also this is the 700mm heavy liner/barrel. My next plan is to actually try a 16 gram hammer, delete front regulator, and add an additional plenum section. My hopes are to hit near 150 FPE with heavier slugs.

wow, i sent my maverick to ernest to have it maxed out
this past summer and he did all he could do to get it to 109fpe
without over stressing the internals.
he used just about everything you mentioned in your mods.
it still was not as accurate as my uragan and i need that accuracy whitetail hunting.
good luck in your power addition.

Is yours the 700mm barrel? I'm not real sure if I'm stressing the internals or not but my plan is to take it to the limit without internal mods and then back it down as needed for accuracy, etc.

Hello,
Can you please verify what kind of accuracy you are getting on 50 and 100 yards?

Got some sun moa groups at 35 yards.. just haven't stretched it out yet. Just got gun over 140 FPE recently as well. My plan is to shoot for max power first then tune it down to the match whichever projectile I want to pursue.

Add the Tungsten hammer in the mix too. I'm hoping I can get 110fpe with the Maverick VP 600mm.

Can you show us a chrono string as well as some groups? Seems like a hell of a lot of power for 35 yard limitations (assuming you are only shooting 35 yards because thats the space you have)

This is the latest screenshot while I was doing a bunch of adjustments. Was dialing in my settings and getting setting number 7 to achieve peak velocity. I don't have any pictures of groups yet but I may be able to shoot some tomorrow and post them. At the moment I'm trying to attain the limit of the gun and work backwards. And the 35 yard range is just what I have set up in my back yard ( got like 40 acres of woods behind my fence so no worries sending lead this fast around neighbors). I don't plan to use the gun for long range but I may take it from time to time and shoot around 100 yards.
