Tuning Uragan Compact Shroud Removal ?

Just received a Uragan Compact from Talon Tunes - Sweeeeet gun. For the life of me I can seem to unscrew the shroud. Anyone have similar issues and or suggestions how ot get it off? I prefer to not disassemble / take the barrel out.

I don't t know the Uragan but if it's solid as you say it's possible that it has some thread sealing paste, try with a hot air gun to heat the shroud in the area of ​​the thread.

Put a heat shield between the barrel and tank or just remove the tank (better) and lightly use a heat gun as suggested by 'enkey'. Don't know if the shroud innards are metal or plastic so be careful with heat.

The collar at the end of the shroud, closest to the receiver body., appears to NOT have a set / grub screw and is only a tolerance fit over the barrel. The shroud appears to have an inner collar that screws onto the barrel and that's all that holds it onto the barrel. Maybe that's too obvious.

For what it’s worth, the newer shroud, with the obvious stacked sections on the end, has a barrel fitting that threads onto the shroud tube and also threads to the end of the barrel. This fitting is, of course, the first section secured to the shroud tube and then baffles thread to it. At the end of the baffle stack, the threaded 14m x 1.25 end piece threads to the last baffle. It looks like this:

at the end of the shroud, remove the cap end nut, notice there is a hole drilled through the end threads, insert a long allen wrench or skinny screw driver through the hole, this will give you torque to remove the shroud, carefully turn the shroud with the inserted tool, mine was on super tight too, or you can use a strap wrench.

Thanks all for the input and help. It took my son and I together (him stabilizing / holding the gun and me gripping the shroud with two hands) but we did it. I felt like we were wrestling a python - tough to grip and fighting against us. But we got it! I really like this little gun. @23.5fpe of fun.
