Uragan & Impact .30 cal - Great Day of Shooting!

My buddy Dave & I took a break from our healthcare jobs today and spent time shooting our .30 cal rifles. I was sporting an Uragan & Impact X, while Dave was fine tuning his Impact MKII. Both my guns performed well. The Uragan is shooting the 44.75 JSB @ 880 (45 shots) with a super tight ES spread of 5 FPS, and the Impact is averaging 892, ES of 10 (46 shots).

Have to share the space with the horses. When you're not dodging their waste, you have to dodge the occasional kick. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to dodge this one. Arm, back and ribs took a beating :(

Both of my guns were tuned to perfection by my friend and teammate, Derrick @zx10wall, a true airgun wizard.

The Impact X has the power plenum and the reg set ~110 bar… crazy efficient! The Uragan has a Huma reg and the XL plenum… it sips air, I’m getting 54 regulated shots. I really like the fit, feel, and simplicity of the Uragan. But man, the flexibility and the 23 shot mag on the Impact is hard to beat. 

I look forward to the shootout… honestly, not sure which one will come out on top.

Sorry guys, a little late responding to the posts...

@L.Lean... I was kicked 3-4 weeks back when we went out. It was a rookie mistake. I was feeding the horses apples and one of the horses didn't appreciate me sharing with others. Lesson learned!

@oregun has some bad-ass rifles.. his @zx10wall tuned Impact and Uragan are a force to be reckoned with. Every time we go out he pushes me to up my game. So much so that I'm re-tuning my Impact to counter. I spent several hours last weekend and hundreds of rounds taking measurements. I'll finish up tomorrow doing the same. Thank god for the LabRadar! After the numbers are in, adjustments will be make, then we'll have a shoot off! 😁

Last week, I shot five, 7 ring EBR sized targets (5 shots per target) and scored a 217 @ 100 yards with the Uragan. The winds were tricky. I gotta practice... Maximum Effort!!
