Airgun Technologies Uragan2 owners who replaced the plastic bottle cage...

What did you do in its place? I knew that the synthetic stocked gun was going to come with the plastic cage, so I'm not complaining about it being there. I would like to be able to mount a bipod further forward when I'm not shooting this thing off a tripod though. Picking up an aluminum cage and adding a short section of picatinny to the front might be an option, but I have only seen them listed with retailers in Europe at this point. I'm not crazy about the aesthetic of the gage in general and paying the asking price for something that while functional, isn't pleasing to me eye, keeps me from being excited about this idea. I'm currently eyeing the ST0032 (https://sabertacticalinc.com/collec.../universal-picatinny-to-picatinny-rail-st0032) as a potential solution. Both of my bipods are picatinny and the 2" section of Arca Swiss will work with the dual picatinny/Arca clamps on my tripods. this with a neoprene sleeve for the air cylinder (sadly seemingly only available from an overseas seller) might be just the ticket. Anyone try this?

There are a few extended pic rails out there similar to that Saber. AGT has one or two aimed at the Uragan and Huma has one aimed at the Prophet (work the same) but both are expensive. You could look for cheaper options on eBay to find picatinny rail extensions.

You could go with some homemade options that don’t look as pretty. I made one with a carbon fiber tube for my Prophet for the same reason you need one for your Uragan. Disconnects fairly easily when you don’t want it.
