Not understanding a 749 with 40x score. 40x = 400, if all the rest 35 were all 9's would be 315. 400+315=715. 36x would be 360. 39 9's would be 351. 360+351= 711. Am I figuring wrong??

Yes...you can score a 10 or a 10x. I shot 1 9... 74 10s...and 40 of the 10s were X’s.

It’s not really the most intuitive scoring system...to be honest.
