That is what I wanted to know... How much price drop can I expect..."T3PRanch"I picked up my 75 cu/ft tank on e-bay with 2 years left of the 15 for $80 delivered.

As a matter of fact, I never even thought about buying a used tank, up until you pointed it out. : )"T3PRanch"CF Tanks have a 15 year life span. New with 15 years they are top dollar. As they age and have less of the initial 15 years left the price drops significantly (Particularly those with only a few years left). I picked up my 75 cu/ft tank on e-bay with 2 years left of the 15 for $80 delivered.

X27The tanks you referenced on eBay were made in 2003 there good for 2 more years for that price I think you are getting ripped off.
The problem is that I am so impatient, ha ha. I "need" something now. Too bad I ruined my hand pipe... Anyhow, I guess you are right though.By the time I get everything I need, it will be too much for what I am getting... What about new ones?! Do they come with everything you need?! For example:"Mando"If you keep an eye out you can get a really good deal on eBay. Last year I picked up three MSA tanks manufactured 07/2012 for $150 each shipped. Two 88 cf and one 66 cf.
With the tank you are looking at by the time you add the new valve, fill hose, and new hydro test you could easily be in the $350 range. A tank with a standard SCBA valve and making your own fill adapter will be more economical.
