Using a Venturi type water separator

I have seen some where people that mount it directly on the compressor

My question is does/would the vibrations affect the way it separates water

On mine I have a lag bolt holding it on my bench but it’s not ideal

Thought of maybe a Christmas tree stand some how

Thoughts/ Ideas?
