CPHPs shoot well out of every thing I own. I wash and lube them as they are usually filthy. Not a problem considering they are 1.2 cents per round.
They were $6.24 for 500 Thursday when i bought, they went up to $14.29 today or yesterday which I would never pay. Im glad I stocked up over the weekend.

I've seen a lot of variability in 177 Crosman domed, 10.5 grain. One tin shot great, fully equal to H&N in my P35-177. Next two tins shot poortly. I got a pellet gauge and checked head size. The "good" tin had much more consistent head size than the two "bad" tins. I have not had any trouble with the 14.3 grain 22 pellets, domed or "hollow point", in my Prod, however. They do not shoot quite as well as the copper plated H&N FTTs it really likes but they shoot well enough for most purposes.

I don't see how Crosman pellets will ever damage my guns, however. Even when they don't shoot well they work fine for testing moderators or to dirty a barrel after cleaning.

I have more than a few Crosman pellets on hand in two calibers. They get shot out of guns which I do not expect a high level of accuracy from. Usually Crosman guns with Crosman barrels.

I used to run them in my HWs, but haven’t for a long time. Also, I am likely not shooting as much as some of you, so I would rather run better pellets.
Oh and here north of the war zone, everyone raised the prices on the Crosman pellets to the point where there isn’t that much savings anyway.
