It is what it is. To deny what got us here is ridiculous. The postal service is broken by design. If we can discuss the failures but not the causes then the discussion is meaningless. It's just another exercise in denial.

This is not the place to discuss such things and the owners and moderators have made it plan and clear . It is what It is just as you stated above lol . I have no desire for the back and forth that does not deal with or relate to the enjoyment of our shared hobby here at AGN . Have a great day and relax and enjoy some plink at paper targets or something . ;):ROFLMAO:

I have to assume this was due to some automated system, because a human being would take one look at the label and know exactly where to send it.

My comment was directed at the group in general. Not you personally. I know in a group like this any dissenting opinion is met with some emotion. I didn't mean to offend anyone but if I did then that's OK too.

The USPS has been reliable in my limited experience. I've had more issues with damage and schedule with UPS. But that is just my narrow window of perception. I know there are challenges with all shippers and any package can get lost or misdirected.

I ship small stuff USPS for $5 all the time. Hundreds of packages. Only one problem easily resolved. I'll continue using them for small stuff and UPS for bigger/more valuable items.

The pre paid label is the way to go. Slap it on there and drop it off almost anywhere. I take mine down to the local market. The UPS picks up (almost) every day there. I think you can even drop them off at some post offices. If there is a label on it you bypass a lot of problems.

Sometimes it takes a day or two to get shipped. But it's a bunch cheaper than "The UPS Store".
