Usps.....unbelievable

I am sad to see all these horror stories. All those lost airguns and pellets and scopes...

I have had several items lost or shuffled around the country also. I had a set of grips sit in my local post office and the DEi hire kept telling me it was not there. Even though she never got off of her chair to go look... I opened several cases with the USPS Inspector General over the issue once I realized it ticked her off. EVENTUALLY I asked the correct person and he walked back into the sort facility and found it in like ten minutes...

I recently purchased pellets from New England Airgun and had no other option but USPS. When I realized it was USPS shipping only I really had to think the purchase over. Almost cancelled the order over it. Amazingly they showed up. Must have been an anomaly.

I have sold a couple dozen items from my other present hobby. Astrophotography cameras, eyepieces, and such.
Always go to post office for Priority Mail. Boxes included with shipping, tracking, $100 insurance. Never failed
and fast.
The competition UPS and FedEx when I received something from a store has arrived in good shape container wise.
However when receiving from a private seller often items were damaged and boxes looked like they were kicked.
im just going to estimate this at 30% of the time.

I just last week shipped an airgun off for repair. I was planning on using Fed ex and the recieving service said that delivery by Fed ex in his area was horrible, Items constantly misdelivered or carelessly thrown on porch. He suggested UPS saying delivery service there was excellent. I changed to UPS and saw it was delivered as fast as fed ex stated.

Recently received a package of parts from a vendor via USPS ground. Got the package in a few short days right on time. The vendor forgot to put one of the needed items in the box and sent it out the same day... this time USPS Priority. The package took 5 days longer to receive than the original package and missed scheduled eta 3 times.. so much for priority.
BTW... this was from Texas to Alabama.
