Utah Air basic tune

Utah air includes a basic tune meaning set reg per caliber and adjust hammer to shoot at 920fps with most popular pellet for that caliber. Only speed setting and no accuracy/group test is done, it's too labor intensive to do a fine tune plus everyone shoots different ammo. I think If you call them you can ask them to set reg/hammer to shoot ammo of your choice at certain speed….I think.

I have to chime in here received a brand new Impact M3 Compact .22 from UA came with the factory tune (I checked with FX NC) nothing but slip stating avg speed one week later its on its way back to Utah because it burps pellets out on its own (finger not even on trigger) n shoots 10" groups at 50yds have purchased several high end airguns from AOA never had a problem am disappointed in their defense they admit something wrong and am paying for return will see how it plays out just surprised FX factory or UA didn't catch before reaching end user we're talking a $2000 rifle here......

Wonder if any employees from there are on here? I find it hard to believe they do anything more than take it out of the box and fire several shots to make sure it functions. MAYBE take a chrono string but I bet a wrench touches nothing for free. PA charges 100 bucks to do anything in regards to tuning beyond there 10 shot mere function test.

What you said is 100% accurate!

HOWEVER! My crosman challenger which was 400 dollars on sale shipped 2 years ago came with a 5 shot group on paper. So did both of my $350 1701P, guess they don’t make them like they used to.
