What is your opinions on this scope?

I like UTG myself and like where the company is based (free Taiwan and US corporate [owned by an American]). They have a good warranty too. I go for their Bugbuster scopes usually. There are a lot of great shooters here that hate UTG, but for my casual shooting and plinking and pesting, the brand is awesome in my opinion.

. Nice illuminated colors with a sucky reticle though and sub par but barely decent glass. I have the bubble level version and there are far better scopes for that kind of money. If you are stuck on UTG get the mini swat 4-16x44 or even the 3-12x44 instead that are $129 to sometimes under $100 if you shop smart (OR NOT).
If you got money to blow and still got a hard on for UTG get the ones SPECIFICALLY with the UMOA reticle.
I really like the reticle and illuminated colors of my 2-16x44 UTG but everything else especially the glass pretty much sucks IMHO. It's the only one I would buy if i had money to blow and was forced to ONLY buy Leapers UTG.
I still have many mini swat 3-12x44s and 4-16x44s on many of my guns until I replace them with AIM SPORTS Alpha6 scopes. There is absolutely no comparison!
I would at least get the Discovery or Vector before the Leaper UTG however the Alpha6s are much better.

I REALLY LIKE THE CHEAP LEAPER UTG BIG SIDE FOCUS WHEELS THOUGH TO MODIFY TO USE ON OTHER BETTER BRANDS OF SCOPES.

It all depends on what is good enough for you. I just installed a Bugbuster on my DreamTac and it serves it's purpose well. I suppose if your eyes are bad, you need perfect glass? My eyes are not the best but the scope does the job for shots up to 80 yards out (so far)...
