UTG Bugbuster scope

I installed the Bugbuster on a 2300S. The windage was no problem but the elevation was a bit of a challenge for me. The last time I had/used a scope was 35 years ago on a 22LR. I don't remember it being so difficult to zero the scope. I had to turn the elevation turrent quite a bit to get POA/POI  is that normal with these scopes? I'm assuming it would bottom out if turned too much?? And yes I shimmed it, checked that the reticle was center which it was low 10 clicks, and made sure the scope mount screws weren't too tight. I must say I'm liking the scope it really shows you when you break the trigger and move off your target:oops: so you can't blame the pellet:rolleyes: I realized I'm a lot more shaky than I realized:rolleyes:

What distance? You might find adjustable rings work better. I have 4 of these and never had an issue, but I don't use the included rings. I use adjustable angle rings (expensive) when zeroing out to 25 yards. I typically use these scopes for inside 10 meter15
15 yards and its pretty on target (when I do my part) but I had to turn the turrent one complete revolution passing 0 and ending up on 10. I bought rings and didn't use want came with the scope. I bought some UTG medium scope rings.

I zeroed mine in at 25 yards about 4 minutes after it was installed and I'm plinking pellet tin lids at 50 yards with it on my .25 AEA HP SS Plus no problem. Just requires minor aiming adjustments (aiming at the top edge puts the round dead-center). I haven't touched the turrets since initially zeroing it in.
