Valdada Scope

I’m using a Valdada Crusader-2 for my bench rest gun, and with the clarity of the Schott glass used, got me thinking if anyone is using a Valdada in any of the Field Target classes? If you are, what model, how is the ranging, and what class are you shooting in?

The problem is with those big scopes like that is that usually they don't go down low enough in Parallax for Field Target 10 minimum needed. I had GEN 2 razor scope but it did me no good in Field Target. So when I got out of PRS 22 I sold it

Also some of those scopes are 33 ounces to 46 ounces and some guys don't want that weight

Mini g2. Have 2 of them. I don't do field target tho.

The IOR glass is superb, but they do tend to be heavy as you already know. For those not familiar with it, the Crusader 2 is 42 ounces and 15" long. Ring options would be limited with a 40mm tube. The close focus is 30 feet (10 yards).

If you like a heavy rifle, I don't see why it wouldn't do the job. Is there a weight limit in the FT Hunter class?

That huge Mag-Lock extension on the left side might get in the way of stuff on some airguns.
