Vector Optics QC

A while back I purchased a Vector Veyron 3-12X SFP scope and it is impressive to say the least. I have SWFA SS scopes, Hawke Airmax, Optisan etc and when testing each of them to see how they stack up, the SWFA were the tracking leaders. Well, the Veyron tracks as perfectly as I can determine on my shooting range and equal to the SS scopes. The lenses are really pretty amazing also. I have no complaints with this scope at all. It is so good, it earned a permanent home on my Airmaks Katran, one of my best airguns. Sooo, I decided to order another one, but when it arrived it is not nearly the lens quality of the first one. I cannot get the reticle and targe to focus together and even at it's best focus, the view is pretty fuzzy.
Has anyone else had any experience with Vector quality? I know their a "budge" scope, but I figured on better than this.

Yeah, me........

Six for me, all a dream come true. Rotate PCPs for daily target work, always pleasantly surprised looking thru Vector Veyrons, especially if PCP before was wearing different optics. Most recent from Krale (Optics Dept) Netherlands, $211 to-my-door, 6-24x44, SFP, IR (red center dot/six shades) MPR-10 reticle, just awesome. WM

I too had a problem with a fixed 10x Marksman. The reticle had turned. I sent it back and got another, I love the scope and the reticle. I also have the same Veyron as you and I didn't have a problem with it. Anything can have a problem and these are not expensive optics, for the money, they are definitely worth taking the risk on. Keep returning until you get a good one.

Send it back. I have 3 of their LPVO, two in the Continental line and the other one their cheap line. All 3 are great, their Continental line has awesome glass. I tried one of their Paragon 3x prisms, the glass was nice and was probably a good optic, but the ret, especially the center dot was just to small for me to see. They told me to send it back, I got a refund as soon as they had shipping confirmation. They even paid for the shipping.

Another thing I like about their Continental line of LPVOs is how easy it is to change the fixed parallax. I set both of mine at 40 yards.

I just received a Vector Sentinel yesterday and for a $200 10-40x scope I’m very pleased with it. I can clearly see .177 holes in cardboard at 70 yards and I click adjusted my holdover out to 90 yards from 50 yards and then back again and it went right back again.

I was more than a little dubious of what the glass quality and the eye box was going to be, but it has so far exceeded my expectations. I’m sure that is you were to compare this to a high magnification Sightron or March that the optics would be awful in comparison, but for $200 I think it’s pretty good.
