Vector Veyron scope failure

My Veyron 3-12x stopped holding zero today. I couldn't get any groups less that a couple inches at 30 yards. When I tried to rezero it, the poi move all over the place in about a 2-3 inch circle. You never knew where adjustments would move the poi.

I put a SWFA 10x on and shot a 3/8“ group about 1 mil high and 3/4 mil left. Dialed in the change and dead on.

So now we'll see what Vector will do. I'm pretty sure the Veyron only has a 5 year warranty and I've had this one well over a year, maybe more, and don't remember where I bought it.

Odd that a scope would fail , of all things, on a PCP.
You'd be surprised. Sometimes it's just a matter of "when" it will fail. It doesn't only happen to cheap/budget scopes. I have a couple of scopes in the $3500 range that failed on me with just normal use on a PCP.

Also interested because I have the exact same scope, pretty decent compact scope for the price.

I hope Vector warranties your scope.. I just bought a Veyron 6-24x44 with the spf recticle,, Trying to buy a scope that does not weigh a ton and still be able to shoot 100 yard groups with 22 cal.. It was the Veyron 6-24 or Arken LH4 6-24...The Arken prices keep going up so i tried the VEYron with SPF recticle new price was $170.00 shipped Alliexpress.. Will see

In my old life shooting powder burner benchrest when young i tore up some premium optics.. I used Nightforce Benchrest BR scopes...I tore the tracking out of all of them in time.. Leupold was the same tracking systems wore out.. THat being said nightforce would have a Scope fixed and air mailed back to you within 3 days of recieving it...So i think the small brass parts in scopes fail from use.. I bought a coldshot MIL adjustable base..So i can keep the internals in the scopes in good shape and not use them much....
