Vector Veyron vs Vector Hugo

I’m trying to figure out what the differences are between Vector’s Veyron and Hugo lines of scopes. Are they basically the same just an older version or name? There are some good prices on the Hugo scopes and limited availability on the Veyron. I’ve Googled both and get conflicting reviews. Much more info on the UK sights so I assume the are more available there than in the US. Any insight on the 4-16 or 6-24 of either Veyron or Hugo would be appreciated.

Used UK sites for Vector Veyron purchases until greed increased price each time by $50. Great pricing and availability still exists at Krale (Netherlands) Optic Department. Bought last three (6-24x44 SFP, IR, MPR-V10 reticle) listed @ $176 USD. Very satisfied with 6-24x44, and 3-12x44, no personal experience but have heard concerns regarding 4-16x44. WM

I usually hear decent things about all veyrons. I’ve only used the veyron 3-12x44. They are awesome compact scopes for the money. Reticle is a little fine for hunting but bout perfect for paper.
I ordered all my veyrons directly from vector on AliExpress. Seemed to always have the best prices. Especially if you wait for a sale and use coupons on top on the low prices. All 3 of my veyrons came from a US warehouse when ordering on AliExpress. At my house in 3 days. Supposed to ship from china so not sure what the deal is there. I’m not complaining though.

Good luck

I just bought a Vector Vevron 6-24x50 sfp with cool mil grid recticle on alliexpress for around $170.00..It was at my house in a couple of days..The glass and recticle are very useable.. Everything works as it should.. Im using scope on a coldshot mil adjustable base and it works great.. At same time i purchased Vevron i also purchased Monstrum Challenger 5-30x56 FFP Mil scope same price $170.00...Within 10 shots on my .510 Texan the Monstrum wouldnt hold zero any more..THe Monstrum Challenger glass was not nearly as good..

4-16x FFP IR Veyron is not my bag. I don’t like the illuminated dot as opposed to having an illuminated reticle and I think it is overpriced for the image quality. I have several Vector scopes, most of them 3-12x FFP Veyrons. Can’t comment on the Hugo line. I’d never heard of it until I read the initial post here.

Well my new Vevron 6-24x44 sfp with very light use..I hardly touched the turrets.. Lost its ability to hold zero..Ahh...Im having no luck with chinese scopes...I bought a Monstrum Challanger and it s internals were crap..3 shots on my .510 Texan it broke... Getting hold of Vector and hopefully get it replaced..

I do not understand why you have problems getting information. I just Googled the manufacturer. On their site, they tell you the specs. Hugo is a lower-line model. Also, many people have complained about the Monstrum scopes enough that I would never take a chance on one. My Veyron scope is okay—that is it.My Discovery scopes are better than okay, as are my Hawke scopes. I think the compact Victor scope could be nice.

The biggest differences are the weight and the lenght of scopes. The Veyron line of Vectors are compact and light, at 20oz and 11.7 long " for the 6-24 while the 6-24 Hugo is 14.7" and weighs in at over 24oz

They are all manufactured the same way. The difference is the glass.
You have a reticle , Len's, sub tensions , and an erector tube. They all have springs.
You have to be able to count on these springs.
The scope, when placed upon said rifle, must be leveled. Absolute Level. Not just level , accuracy wise. Absolute level 0.
This gives the springs absolute rebound.
Then you have to control that, on a bench, bipod,,,,,,,,,,,free handed. You see where this is going.

Then comes the next step to see how truly accurate you are.
You cannot be shooting off the hood of your truck.
A rear rest should not matter if there is a fence post nearby. If you're hunting.
If you're going for absolute accuracy, you will require a very good , one piece rest.
Those vary in price from $1200.00 to $2000.00. or more. You see them all the time in ARA matches.
That's when you see what your gun is truly capable of.

It's not always the arrow. Sometimes , it's the Indian.
In 2025, nearly every scope discussed on this site within the last 5 years will hold zero mark.
Glass.

I've done really well with Vector scopes and have been using them for years. Mine are Taurus and Paragon. Recently I got a Veyron. It's ok, but I didn't think it was as clear.
You likely got a vector that just barely passed QC, they usually are super clear throughout their entire line. But sometimes one slips though the cracks.
