Does anyone know if Vern is still making grips? Sent him an email last week and haven't heard back. I haven't seen any ads anywhere for his grips in the last few months either. I want a set for my Crosman 1701P. I have several sets of his grips and all are works of art.

I have a few sets of grips by Vernon as well. He's hit or miss on email contact. I bought one set from him on ebay. He is mystryman_1 there I believe. Just took a look and don't see any current grip postings.

I checked ebay and saw a few things under mysteryman the other day but no grips. He had talked about stopping his grip making a while ago and I wonder if he decided to stop or cut back.

Vernon loves making Mark1 and 600 grips. The 2240 or the 2200 he is just So-so about but doesn’t have a passion for them.
Vern does not do phone calls or anything like that, he’s very low key.
I tried pushing his grips on the Cothran Guns in the beginning but it was a struggle just to get 10 made.

I got some cocobolo grips from him for my 1701P back in February this year. Maybe he's on holiday right about now.

Some may say Steve Corcoran’s grips are just as good if not better. Maybe reach out to Steve. Take a look maybe he has something ready to go that’ll tickle your fancy

While Corcoran grips are very nice but I prefer VA grips by far. Corcoran is more focused on stocks anyways.

I also got the Cocobolo grips earlier this year. Had to do everything through eBay. It took some time for a response and to receive. Was worth the wait. Made my 1701p more enjoyable to shoot. Hopefully when winter get here things will slow down and I can get back to shooting.
