Just picked up a Veteran .177 compact off a forum member here who barely shot it. Looking to see if anyone has any recommendations of what pellets have worked best for them on this gun.

JSB 10.3s and JTS 10.4s have been the most accurate in mine . JTS being the best so far. I marked the hammer spring form the factory and its turned down about a quarter turn . Not saying that's optimal but put the10.3s at 887 fps .

My .177 Vet standard shoots both JSB 10.3 and 13.4's very well, but even stranger it shoots AA/JSB 8.4's even better and shot fast !!!

Used to be mine Vet .177 (profile pic) shot the FX 10.3gr amazingly, fx 13.4gr well, FX 8.4gr amazingly. H&N Hornet shot much better than expected, half inch at 45yds around 912fps
