Vevor Compressor no start

Back in August I purchased a PCP air rifle, then I purchased a Vevor Compressor. When it arrived the box was damaged. After inspection one of the cooling line fittings was broke off, no big deal to replace. I also found the top air line bent. I contacted Vevor for a replacement, they refused and wanted a video of it running. I told them they were nuts to think I was going to start a damaged 4500psi compressor and video it for them. They persisted and requested a video before anything could be done. I turned the table on them and requested an email of them accepting liability if anything went wrong while making their video. They immediately refunded my money and said dispose of the compressor. I took the compressor to a company in Edmonton AB that deals in high pressure SS air lines. They inspected and assured me that the lines are meant to be formed and the extra bends are no issue. At this pint I hunted down the special oil required and filled it. When I plugged it in and hit the start button, all it did was buzz or humm. The Vevor compressor failed to start. I can turn the compressor by hand and it rotates.I tested the start capacitor and its good. I dont think the start capacitor is getting power. Can anyone shed some light on this problem, it would be greatly appreciated. I am almost at the end of my patience regarding this venture and tending to want to sell the Air Rifle and be done with it

Vevor actually has good customer service, i recently purchased something that simply didn't meet what my wife wanted and they refunded 107 of the 170 purchase price, without me having to send it back or me having to pay for return shipping. Which was a fairly large package... So if my $170 PCP compressor lasts the warranty period I'll be happy, I currently have atleast a hundred hours on it. If you're just getting into the hobby on a budget they are a good option, just saying.

I was hoping you'd get some good advice on fixing the pump rather than what I've seen here. I'll chime in with what I know. I have a similar yong heng clone, with a similar problem -- mine runs a couple of seconds then stops, leading me to believe it is getting the start boost, but nothing after that. Probably a momentary switch issue or a wire has come loose, or a relay went bad. I'd bet on the switch in your case.

Also, it could also be your outlet -- these things pull huge amps on startup I have mine on a 20A circuit -- I seem to recall it not working reliably on a 15A circuit. Hope you get it working. These things work, but they do break down a lot -- ok if you're a tinkerer and have time for fixing it, otherwise not so much.

That's a yong heng clone. Should got the real yong heng. Many folks have good success with the original yong heng. Can search reviews on youtube and you will see many ppl having good success on it.
If the compressor Humm and won't start. Most likely the piston is stuck. Try turning the back fan to rotate the piston. Someone that will help it start. Also open the bleed valve b4 starting the compressor.
