Vevor HP

1st up this is a metric post
2nd No affiliation to Vevor
Bought a Vevor 3 weeks ago
Put 1 hr on it filling ( yes only 3- 4 min fills) to top up from 170 to 230 bar then did a oil change Shell seco that's quite a few pellets
I use my spa currently at 18 deg C as a coolant tank about 2000l maybe more -yes it's still winter temp in the land down under
I have a Bauer dive compressor but don't wanna use it to fill pcp, bought vevor as I have a 2000W invertor in my car I dive so have plenty of scuba cylinders , but don't want to slog them around, inwant to fill from my truck - called a Ute down here

So after reading some posts here is the go
Connected Vevor to my Bauer compressor filters, desiccant and carbon for breathing air , got an auto dump
Connected a 15l empty - no air dive cylinder
Started pumping
Manually dumped the vevors 2 dump valves every 4 minutes
Took almost an hour to fill tank , increase of 2% on my desiccant fi I ters readout about 30 % higher what I get with my Bauer, I normally fill tank in about 20 minutes with Bauer though relative humidity is around 85 % ATM bloody winter is lasting forever down here

Vevor still good didn't cut out once on heat etc but also didn't cut out on hi pressure mmmmmmm I don't really care as I monitor pressures while filling 180 -250 bar on my fx bottle

Gave oil sample to a m8 in a lab who does oil analysis for vehicles
Very low, traces of any metal found - so rings on pistons wasn't binding ,well to same specs as most cars slightly higher however cars run for 100 times longer to see same results
Pulled head apart before and after wear suggest a plus 150 hr life according to his calculations on rings

Findings
No headache after dive to 40m , my filters are still good 😜
Happy with what I bought , I really thought it is a fill 5 hrs and throw it product
For the price hard to beat
Quality is higher than I thought
Almost 30% longer to fill than calculated, my maths might be suss
Motor didn't cut out once on temp , but temp didn't get up higher th an 60 deg c - adequate cooling reservoir
The stock water/ oil filter is inadequate
Did not cut out on high pressure , please monitor yours, this is my biggest issue due to safety

Moving forward
I would like to add a packable chemical desiccant filter , suggestions appreciated
I reckon oil changes every 10 - 20 hr of operation

More than happy with price vs performance

Disclaimer I might just have the one that was built with best components they had early on Tuesday morning😜
