The Air Arms S500 .22 Air Rifle Knows No Limits: Preparing for Pyramyd Cup! This rifle is just as accurate as it is beautiful! Had such a great day ringing steel on the Know Your Limits (KYL) target - I just had to share! This thing shoots laser beams! Watch here:

More gear prepping for the various events at the Pyramyd Air Cup at the end of August! So after doing a TON of research and talking with Tyler Patner from Pyramyd Air I have finalized my decision on what I will be shooting for each event. (P.S. - ALWAYS listen to EVERYTHING and ANYTHING Tyler says when it comes to all things Field Target!)
During the Hunter Field Target event with the the sub 20 FPE requirement and the dominance of Air Arms in this sector of the airgunning industry - I went with the S500 XS Xtra in .177.
I took this little baby out yesterday an all I can say is WOW! This regulated .177 shoots lights out. Shooting off of a folding tripod seat and bipod sticks is taking some practice for sure, but I am consistently able to hit the 1/4 inch Know Your Limits spinner at 20 yards so far. Video coming soon!
I also needed to pick up another fill hose due to their Air Arms fill adapter that is different than the rest of my air rifles. I went with the Huma Air Regulators 40 inch micro-hose rated to 400 bar.
For the Gunslynger Speed Silhouette event - due to their FPE requirements and the need to hand load I also went with the S500 in .22. For this rifle I am setting it up with sling stud picatinny rail adapters to run the B&T Industries Atlas CAL Bipod up front and the Accu-shot BT04-QK monopod in the rear.
Both rifles are getting set up with the DonnyFl Suppressors for both quiet shooting and I have found the air stripping effects can help with your groups considerably. The .22 S500 gets the Sumo - the .177 S500 gets the Tanto. The S500/S510 adapters from DonnyFL work PERFECT so you can set up your Air Arms rigs with the best suppressors on the market.
For the 100 Yard Benchrest I will be running my Southern Precision Air Weapons LLC. modded and tuned FX Impact MKI in .25 cal. More on that build coming soon as I am still making tweaks. Double bottles baby!
