Very good video. sluggin a barrel tells you a lot. Just about all the Weihrauchs I've checked get tight in the breech block and then loosen up to light sometimes very light drag and get tight at the muzzle choke. I'll call it the breech choke is formed when they spline and press in the barrel. The muzzle choke is from crimping the sight dovetails.
I've had three bad barrels from Weihrauch. Two on sequentially numbered 177 HW77SEs and one new 20 cal Hw80K replacement part bought new. I didn't slug the 77 barrels but I did slug the 80K. It was too loose after the breech choke and went into a free fall the last 2.5" or so before the muzzle choke. Oddly my issue wasn't accuracy as much as power. Weihrauch waranteed the barrel an the new one made almost a fpe more energy. I suppose there was significant blow by after the breech choke. I considered reaming the breech choke so it wouldn't size the pellets so small but it was a brand new and expensive barrel. Luckily I was able to get it replaced.
Keep up the good videos. I know hard they are to make well.
