I think Edgun have a video for that somewhere. Not a scary surgery. Remove that cap screw and the entire plastic cover will slide out on dowels. Underneath is the indexing mechanism, slide out slowly not to loose the parts That plastic cover is also the "muffler" for indexing. And go from there knocking out the dowel you wanted at a first move.
This is my first time doing work on it, I already swapped out the stock air tank for a 470cc and now I’m replacing the jets, and installing the extended locking pin, then I’m also gonna switch to a raptor reg and I have to say it was really a special moment first disassembling the forward plug and seeing the brass machining inside. It’s really a beautiful piece of machinery, the tolerances on all the threading, it’s really something amazing.
