N/A Vintage Airguns Gallery donation 'auction'

Note to AGN admin: Please allow me to publicize this event. The VAG is not-for profit and as a vintage airgun collector myself, one of the aims of this 'auction' is to keep rare parts and accessories in the hands of real enthusiasts, not to maximise their value.

The Gallery - which is free to access but costs money to run - will shortly be having a fundraising drive involving a month-long 'auction' of airgun parts and accessories. It will be unconventional in the sense that bids will be in the form of donations offered, so you'll have to trust us to run it fairly. If you don't, then don't bid in the first place. Obviously don't bid here or involve AGN in any way, since it has nothing to do with it.

I'm afraid there will be no favours for friends of the Gallery, so please don't ask however desperate you are!

An airgun shooter and collector for decades, I find the sheer volume, specificity and cataloging of the auction items not only impressive and fascinating, but leaves little doubt about the legitimacy of the Vintage Airguns Gallery. As obviously a HUGE amount of effort went into preparations for the auction, I wish you an equally huge amount of success with it. (y)

Wish I owned any of the collectable gems those parts and accessories fit. Unfortunately few of the legendary vintage-collectable Euro guns were ever within my (meager) fiscal reach.

Best of luck, Gavin!
