Vintage late 1970s early 1980 Benjamin and Beeman 22 caliber pellets

These have been stored with closed lids but are severely oxidized. Are they still any good to shoot? Would they damage the barrel? Probably accuracy is crap. Look at the price on the middle Benjamin pellets.$1.19 for 250 pellets. No deals like that anymore.

I used to shoot these out of a Crosman 1400. That gun is long gone but now I have a Zelos 22 to shoot them in.

I would clean them first. Go to Wallmart and buy a nylon strainer (they use too come in a set of three for a couple of bucks) then a plastic container (one gallon ice cream bucket) put Dawn dish soap (coupe of drops) into it with hot water and shake around. Flush with water then put them on a paper towel to dry. They should clean up pretty good as I have done this with success. If you want' I lube them afterwards (think I have a picture of the stuff if not I'll post later), just a couple of drops into a sandwich baggie for about 75 to 100 pellets, them move them around inside of the baggie. Try not to use the kitchen sink as I have a laundry room. Pictures below
