Crosman Vintage Powermaster 760

New here looking for some help. I was entrusted a vintage crosman powermaster 760 around '74-'75. It seems like an oddbal model though as this particular variation wasnt on Crosman's parts lists. I was able to find one though confirming it is a pre 1975 model.

So my issue is im trying to replace all the seals but can not for the life of me figure out how the pin for the pump comes out. Its not a roll pin, its not a screw, its not a pin and retainer. It looks almost like it is a brass pin that is peened over with a retaining collar on both sides of the tube. Ive tried gently tapping, ive tried unscrewing. Cant get it to give way at all even though it seems to spin. Before i break out the Dremel or get a bigger hammer i wanted to see if i can definitively confirm how this p8n comes out. Any guidance is appreciated

Except that doesnt match what i have.

I found this break down on another site that does show what i have but it doesnt have a description To know if these are nuts or what they are

From what ive gathered there were several variations of the 1966-1975 models and i believe this was either a 1974 or 1975 version

I've had a couple of them like that. They're kind of confusing. There's a wire that runs through the center of the pivot pin and the covers are pressed onto it. A little gentle prying while rocking them with a set of wirecutters will get them off and then you'll see the exposed roll-pin. It can then be pushed out.

I've never bothered to put the covers back on as they're cosmetic and I'm into just shooting the dang things.

Cheers,

J~

Thats kinda what i was expecting to be the case, that they were some kind of a pressed retainer of some kind. Thank you for the answer. I didnt want to start prying incase there were threads. Im glad you could confirm for me
