Nation,

Submit scores for this week here for this week's competition. I still have some eye focus/ clarity issues to work out for the ISSF 10 meter class, but I might shoot the 1701 with a scope......see what happens.

Let's see some targets, let's try to have more participants this week......

Deadline is MIDNIGHT 2/26 EASTERN

Again, shoot what ya got, at the distance of your choice.

GO!!!!

Hi Folks,

This was shot with a .177 FWB Model 2, Iron Sights, One Handed at 27 feet., score 343.

Some weeks you feel like you can do no wrong. Sometimes it feels a lot like work. This week it was work. I couldn't wait for it to be over, and that attitude is evident by target #4.

Oh well, there's always next week.........

Shot these with my IZH 46M, AT3 Tactical Red Dot. Meisterkugeln 7.0 gr., 2 hand hold standing. 88+85+81+86=340

Pretty decent score (for me anyway). Hope I did better at tallying the score this week?

Still just learning. Had one blooper that went south on target #2, and another not quite so bad on #3 that might have cost me a couple points.

Oh well, it was a nice sunny & warm afternoon and I had some fun shootin' my pistol. Life is good.

Okay this is my first time to try this so I don't exactly have the "scoring" down yet. I'm open to all and any suggestions or information on how to do this correctly so I'll be ready for next Friday nights match. These were shot at 25 yards using a .177 PP700 AirMax, two-handed, standing unsupported, BSA 2X scope, using Crosman 7.4g Destroyer ammo:

Ray, Excellent shooting! There are many shooters that can't hold those groups at 25 yards off a bench rest with a rifle.

Well thanks. I must admit though it's the trigger set up on the gun not me. I've got it set so light that a gnat fart would trip it :)

Which seems to make holding tight groups easier for me since I'm not worried so much on trigger control as I am on holding the crosshairs on the bullseye. Or that's at least how I think about it. With a typical 1st stage 2nd stage trigger you can get all caught up on "searching" for that 2nd stage and where it breaks that for me it causes me to fidget and that always effects my aim point when shooting pistols.
