Vortec tune kits

I want to put myself out as someone who made a poor comment a couple of years ago. The comment I made was outing vortex tune kits in a poor light because the multiple kits I purchased for my TX200’s did not make adverted velocity. Even though they do not, what I did get from my most used kit being in a TX200 .177 M3, is a rifle that makes about 13 ft/lbs has a remarkable smooth shot cycle with very little hold sensitivity. I have 6000 pellets though this kit and the velocity is very consistent (maybe 5 fps spread with a 20 shot string). No buzzing, no vibrations. Absolutely nothing to complain about. This has been an absolute outstanding purchase and I will only buy vortec tune kits for spring guns. And I owe vortec an apology for my earlier review. I have plans to buy a ProSport in the near future, and I will be purchasing a Vortec kit for this rifle.

Good point to clarify and certainly more fair to Vortek. Several of my Vortek kits have shot below spec on advertised power. But the reality with spring guns is that tuning is an art, not a science, and power can vary for many different reasons. All of the Vortek kits I've used have substantially improved the shooting characteristics of my spring guns. (y)

Jacob,
Thank you so much for posting an amends' to your past comments concerning your expectations. I just received my Vortec kit for my .177 TX200 M3 just last week. I ordered it on the weekend and Tom had it boxed and ready to ship within a half a day. Very pleased so far. I will post my results after installation.
