Tuning Vortek PG3 Steel Diana 34 kit- ambitious?

I saw this today and thought “man, has Vortek been taking marketing lessons from Gamo?” What do y’all think about this? Listed as “up to 20 FPE”, and this:

High-Ouput full power up to 20ft/lbs/27 Joules
*1200fps(.17cal)/390 m/s CP7.9g
*730fps(.22cal)/220m/s G14.33CP (Lead pellet) (17ft/lbs)

20 Ftlbs is stretching things a bit for a 34, but Vortex kits are more aligned to damping and nice shot cycles than they are big power increases. 14 to 15ftlbs..

34s are very underrated guns however. Recently (Last 2 to 3 years but cannot pin it down exactly) the pistons went to a much higher quality and hardness. Any mods you make to the pistons on these newer specimens will be met with ringing while cutting on the lathe. Good guns and nice simple stocks.
