Vortex Pro Series Rings Question

Greetings.

I purchased the Vortex Pro Series 30mm Extra High Rings a while ago. I then decided to do things correctly, and I purchased the Wheeler 'Fat Wrench' kit to properly torque the screws. When mounting my scope, I found out that the kit did not have the correct size hex bit for the Vortex screws. I went ahead and mounted the scope very gingerly, erring on the side of caution.

I want to address this now, but I cannot find out what size bit I need, and I looked on Vortex's site too. (Maybe I missed it?)
I can contact Vortex, but that will likely take a bit more time than solving things here.

By the way, I do realize my choice of kit may not have been the best, so feel free to comment.

Thank you very much.

Edit: If you can recommend a reasonably priced set of bits on Amazon that includes the size I want, please do so. I am looking at some sets but will wait. Thanks you.

Dont know the size but back when looking at the user reviews of the wheeler kit. Some did say the bits were bad or not made right .. with pictures of the misformed bits in theres.

Im sure someone with that brand ring will chime in on wrench size. My most common is a t15 torx ..

Pretty beffy 👍

Streamlined, lightweight and durable, these rings use four T-25 Torx-style socket cap screws for secure mounting.

Ps .. i started using Milwaukee impact bits ( shockwave). tired of snapping / twisting regular bits or drivers .. hopfuly being impact driver bits thay may last under nut driver hand use ..lol

HM, I am embarrassed a bit. The data was right there in front of me, but I did not see it until you pointed it out. I have so little experience with some tools!

Thank you for all.

Edit: I copy on Milwaukee. My brother is a life-long mechanic and uses lots of their stuff. He's the one that has all the mechanic genes in the family, but he is in another state now.
Also, the Wheeler set has a T15 and T20, but not the T25. I am going to buy something now.

Don't be embarrassed ...Happens to us all .

I snap or twist i use on scope rings .. even doing the base there metal is either soft and they twist or hard crystalized and snap .. not like im cracking em down so to say.. most times its removing the screw that gets em ..(???)

Maybe them you bought will work out and last .. just never know till to use them..

Good luck.

Hmm. Maybe my use is not as light duty as I thought.
Yes, we shall see how these work out. They come tomorrow, God willing, which is nice.
Thanks. S7

Well being that ring uses a T25. Thats pretty beefy vs mine using a T15. If mine use a 25 i doubt id even come close to my issue of damaging them . but of the bits i commonly use it's that T15 that just don't last no time ..heck the smaller T10 ive yet to damage .. go figure ..lol. Just somthing about that T15 i go through them one after the other.. maybe its by design 🥴

Got it. I am sorry for your T15 history. :(
