I thought I would reach out to the community to get input on doing the plenum change on my V3 to increase the power. Pros/Cons, I'm interested in any input out there.
I'm shooting a max 50yds in my backyard.
My slugs range from 10gn - 15gn
My pellets range from 5.56gn - 16gn
Is the stock barrel in the V3 slug friendly?
As far as tuning the V3, I'm looking for a set it and forget it scenario.
I don't have any velocity numbers. My FX chrony rarely works on my V3 for whatever reason. I've wondered if the barrel shroud is too thick cuz I also have issues with my Maverick when I have the DonnyFL Sumo installed. I've considered removing the shroud on the V3 to see if it makes any difference with the chrony.
Anyway, I'm curious to hear what people think about doing this plenum change.
