Airgun Technologies Vulcan 3 700 mm .25 Cal arrived

Finally I was able to buy from Talon Tunes a rifle.

This one is a Vulcan 3 700 mm .25 Cal.

After the payment through PayPal at Talon Tunes site, the deal with Tony was a really good experience.

Tony is a busy man but a professional indeed. The rifle arrived tested by him and working perfectly!

Congrats on your new purchase! If you're wanting to shoot slugs I recommend the .254 nsa slugs. As a second option I would say the AVS slugs and then the H&N

I walked up early to shoot at 190 yards.

This rifle with 29 grain slugs has half the drop at 190 yards that my other rifles able to shoot so far away. Instead of compensate with 23 lines in the reticle, it hits with 11th line of the reticle ..... Amazing !!

I zero all my PCP's at 50 yards (except my Bantam 4.5 at lowest power that I use to kill scorpions)

At 90 yard the FX Panthera Compact Hunter with 34 grain JSB's is more accurate than this rifle with slugs at that distance, but at 190 yards the Vulcan is extremely accurate with slugs.

I would say that this rifle is "different".....

It can still go higher in power too just so you know, I loved shooting the one I had but couldn't get over the ping, so I traded guns with ny coworker, he loves it!
This one do not have a ping at all, Airgun Technology is including now a depinger. . It is VERY silent and taking into consideration the power, it is absolutely silent.

Wow those V3s are sure putting out some power . The weight and price aren't bad either . What's the shot count like at 76 fpe ? I would probably go with the shorter 500mm barrel. But that's awesome. The FPE wars our upon us .
Never got to fill mine past 280 bar, I was able to get about 3ish mags at 78fpe.

Without wind, this rifle is EXTREMELY accurate at 200 yards shooting 29 grain NSA slugs.

The G1 BC of those 29 grainers in my 1st generation Uragan King at 922 fps are .075 and also group well but the BC is probably a bit higher at your velocity.

My V3 sends the 29's at 1060 fps and it doesn't shoot them well.

Although sold out right now the 34.9's also shoot well in my King, maybe a hair less than the 29 gr. I haven't tried these in my V3 yet since I normally use the Altaros 60gr in it but I think they'd do better than the 29's at my V3's power level.

Here's a few groups at 200Y with my King and the 29's. A 10 shot and a 5 shot group on the 15" plate shot from prone off a Harris bipod and rear squeeze bag. Wind was low.
